Help › Billing, payments, and plans
Last updated: September 28, 2026
Quick answer
You can cancel from inside the app in under a minute. Log in to the account that owns the subscription, then:
Click your profile picture in the top-right corner and choose Settings.
Open the Billings and Plans tab.
Click Manage plan, then Cancel subscription.
Answer a couple of short questions, then click Yes, cancel my subscription.
Cancelling stops future payments. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Nothing you made is deleted.

If you just need a breather, there are two lighter options. Both are offered to you automatically when you start the cancellation flow.
Pause for a month instead
If you are on a paid plan, you can pause your subscription for one month. You are not charged while it is paused, your posts, websites, and content stay exactly where they are, and billing picks back up automatically after 30 days. You can also resume early at any time from the Billings and Plans tab. While the plan is paused, the app's paid features are on hold.
You will find Pause for 1 month both in the Manage plan menu and as the first screen of the cancellation flow. A subscription that is already paused or still in its free trial cannot be paused.
Extend your free trial
If you are still in your free trial and want more time to decide, the first screen of the cancellation flow offers a one-time, free 7-day extension. Click Extend my trial 7 days and no card is charged during the extra week.
Move to a smaller plan
When you click Cancel subscription, the app first shows you the other plans in case a smaller one fits better. A switch takes effect right away, and the difference is prorated so you only pay for what you use.
All Trolto subscriptions are billed directly by Trolto on the web. There is nothing to cancel through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Make sure you are logged in to the account that owns the subscription. If you belong to a team, that is the team owner's account.
Log in at app.trolto.com.
Click your profile picture in the top-right corner, then choose Settings.
Open the Billings and Plans tab.
Under your current plan, click Manage plan, then Cancel subscription.
A window titled Before you cancel… shows the other plans. To keep going, click the small Cancel Subscription link in the corner of that window.
You will be offered a pause (paid plans) or a trial extension (free trials). To decline, click No thanks, continue to cancel.
Pick the reason that fits best, then click Next.
Answer two short questions about why you are leaving and what would bring you back. A sentence each is enough. We read every response.
The last screen shows the date your access ends and what your account is currently running. Click Yes, cancel my subscription to finish.
You will see a We hope to see you again soon! message when it is done. Back on the Billings and Plans tab, your plan now shows a Cancelled badge with an Access until date. That badge is your confirmation.
Cancelling stops future payments. Your plan stays fully active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing changes until then.
Until your access date
• Everything keeps working: posting, scheduling, your agent website, listing websites, and articles.
• Any credits you have left can still be used.
• You can undo the cancellation at any time (see below).
After your access date
• Scheduled posts stop going out and automatic content stops being written.
• Your agent website, listing websites, and published articles go offline. Visitors see a not-found page.
• Your leads, contacts, posts, designs, photos, and website content are kept, not deleted.
• Your login still works, so you can come back and pick up where you left off.
If you resubscribe later, your websites go back online and your content is right where you left it.
Cancelling during a free trial
If you cancel while you are still on your free trial, you are never charged. You keep access for the rest of the trial, and the plan simply ends on the trial's last day.
As long as your access date has not passed yet, you can undo a cancellation with one click. Go to Settings › Billings and Plans and click Renew Subscription. Billing continues on your normal date as if nothing happened, and no extra charge is made for renewing.
If your access date has already passed, choose a plan on the same tab to start again.
If your plan is paused and you want it back sooner, click Resume Subscription on the same tab.
On a team plan, only the team owner can pause or cancel. Team members do not have a plan of their own, so their Billings and Plans tab shows a notice that billing is handled by the team owner.
• If the owner cancels, every member keeps access until the team's access date, then loses paid features at the same time.
• Members' content is kept, just like the owner's.
• A member who wants to leave a team can do so from the Team tab in Settings. That does not affect the owner's plan.
I can't find the cancel option
What can cause this
• You are logged in to a different Trolto account than the one that owns the subscription.
• You are a member of a team plan rather than its owner.
• Your plan is already cancelled or paused, so the button reads Renew Subscription or Resume Subscription instead.
What to do
• Check the email shown on the Profile tab in Settings. If it is not the account you pay with, sign out and log in with the right one.
• If you are on a team, ask the team owner to cancel.
• Still stuck? Email us at support@trolto.com from the address on your account and we will sort it out.
I cancelled, but I'm still being charged
What can cause this
• You have more than one Trolto account and cancelled a different one.
• The cancellation was not completed. The final step is Yes, cancel my subscription; closing the window before that leaves the plan active.
• The charge is for the period you had already started before cancelling, which is normal.
What to do
• Search your inbox for receipts from Trolto to see which email address the charge belongs to.
• Open Billings and Plans. If you do not see a Cancelled badge with an Access until date, the cancellation did not go through. Run the steps again.
• Still being charged? Email support@trolto.com with the date and amount of the charge, or a screenshot of it.
I was charged a day before my trial ended
Billing runs on UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). Depending on your time zone, the charge can show up on your statement a calendar day earlier than the trial end date you expected. Nothing is wrong and no action is needed.
Can I get a refund?
Cancelling stops the next charge rather than refunding the current one, since you keep access for the rest of the period. If you believe a charge was made in error, email support@trolto.com with the date and amount and we will look into it.
How do I delete my account?
Cancelling keeps your account and content so you can come back. If you would like everything removed, email support@trolto.com from the address on your account and ask for deletion.
Can I cancel from my phone?
Yes. The steps are the same in a mobile browser. There is no separate app-store subscription to manage.
Email support@trolto.com and include:
• The email address on your Trolto account
• What you were trying to do and what happened instead
• For billing questions, the date and amount of the charge, or a screenshot
If you are logged in, you can also use the chat bubble in the bottom corner of the app.
