Getting started with Trolto

Last updated: October 11, 2026

Quick answer

Most of your setup is already done before you log in for the first time. Your website is designed and your first posts are written. There are four things only you can do, and the Getting started page in the app walks you through them in this order:

1

Publish the website we built you.

2

Connect your social accounts.

3

Approve your first post.

4

Pick the topics for your Google and AI presence.

Fifteen minutes end to end. After that, Trolto keeps running on its own.

In this article

1. Go live with your website

2. Connect your social accounts

3. Approve your first post

4. Turn on your Google and AI presence

What happens after that

1. Go live with your website

Your personal site is already designed from what you gave us when you signed up: headshot, brand colours, market, and bio. Open Agent website in the sidebar, look it over, change anything you want (or nothing), and publish.

• The editor is live — click any section of the page to change it.

• You get your own link to share everywhere. A custom domain is optional.

• The contact form sends every inquiry straight to your Leads tab.

A site stays a draft until you publish it, and drafts are not visible to the public. Publish first: your articles later publish onto this site, so the rest of your search presence waits on it.

2. Connect your social accounts

The logins are the one thing that has to be you. Connect each account once from Connect socials in the sidebar, and from then on every post you approve publishes itself at its scheduled time.

• One Facebook connection covers Instagram too.

• Trolto refreshes your logins automatically, so posting does not quietly stop.

• Nothing is ever posted without your approval.

Each platform has its own requirements before it will let any app post for you. The connection guide covers all four.

3. Approve your first post

Your first posts are already written, designed, and sitting on the calendar. Open one from Content calendar, change anything you like, and approve it. Trolto publishes it and keeps a fresh week of content coming.

• Click any post to edit the text, photos, caption, or design.

• Try another design restyles a post for free if it is not to your taste.

• Content preferences controls the topics; Brand kit controls the look.

If a post is wrong about your market or your brand, fix the preference rather than the post — everything written after that follows the new setting.

4. Turn on your Google and AI presence

Buyers now ask Google — and ChatGPT — who the good local agents are. Pick the topics for your area once, and Trolto writes, publishes, and tracks optimised articles under your name from then on. You never write a word.

• Articles publish themselves onto your website. No writing, no uploading.

• Your SEO plan tracks the keywords you are targeting on Google.

• Search performance shows how Google and ChatGPT mention you.

This step unlocks once your website is live, because that is where the articles are published.

What happens after that

Trolto runs on a schedule from here. New posts are written and placed on the calendar for you to approve, articles publish on their own cadence, your profile and reviews are kept current, and leads from your sites land in Leads. The work that is done for you shows up on your home page, and paying accounts get a Monday email summarising the week.
